"Life puts something new in front of us all the time", said a policeman during a conversation with his colleague in Stanislaw Bareja's The Teddy Bear. 29 February 2024 was the last day of the project 'System of scientific research evaluation for the possibility of creating new business models', implemented from the Science for Society programme. On the same day, we formally begin the implementation of another project that received funding from the same source. This project is the 'Polish Digital Resilience Agenda 2040 - a model of strategic preparation for the antinomies of digitisation', which is to develop, based on advanced predictive methods, the possibilities for the impact of the development of automation and digitisation (including artificial intelligence) on key areas of the state's functioning. The project will result, we assume, in a catalogue of necessary actions to be taken in the near future in order to prepare for potential social and economic changes triggered by the mass application of digital technologies.
More about our new challenge is coming soon. You can hear a little bit about one project as well as the other in a series of programmes produced and broadcast by New Radio. We invite you to listen to these broadcasts, which, in addition to providing information on the achievements and progress of the project just completed, have also become a popular guide to scenario planning and the meanderings of creating new business models. In our view, the completed project is the first stage of building a strategic 'breakwater' to mitigate the potential negative impacts of technology on our lives. It continues with a new venture.
