Today, at the headquarters of the Central-Eastern Region of NSZZ “Solidarność”, a pilot training session was held on the methodology developed by PTC for forecasting demand for study programmes and extracurricular activities. The training was organised by the Union’s National Education and Upbringing Section. The aim of the training is to familiarise participants with the methodology and to assess the need for and method of its implementation through the Union’s structures. We hope that very soon every interested member of the Union will be able to draw up a forecast independently and propose it to the school’s governing body or management. Thanks to this simple mechanism and a virtually cost-free study, a system will be created that strengthens the resilience of vocational schools and allows their provision to be adapted to the current and future needs of local economic systems. The whole event took place in a pleasant and cordial atmosphere, with a full understanding of the challenges and issues at hand. The first full-scale training sessions will take place this autumn.
