Last Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the headquarters of the Management Board of the Central and Eastern Region of NSZZ Solidarność, strategic workshops were held, the aim of which was to initially build a matrix of trends and uncertainties based on the collected empirical material. The undertaking was organized as part of the project: "Digital Resilience Agenda 2040 - a model of strategic preparation for the antinomies of digitalization".
The next workshops, in accordance with the adopted scenario planning methodology, will be aimed at determining key uncertainties in strategic areas such as: economy, medicine, health care, science, education and energy. The result of the work will be the preparation of a wide range of empirical data together with elements of morphological analysis for the proper construction of scenarios in the next stages of the project.
During the workshops, which were preceded by a specially prepared questionnaire, the degree of impact of given phenomena on given social and economic areas was assessed. This approach will allow for the optimization of data as part of further research. A wide range of specialists from various fields were able to be engaged in the workshops.
The Digital Resilience Agenda 2040 itself is an unprecedented undertaking. Its task is to prepare, using predictive methods, a set of potential undertakings, policies and initiatives that will prepare the state and its institutions for previously unknown or unconscious phenomena accompanying the processes of automation and digitization. A special area of interest, in this sense of resilience, in addition to the competitiveness of enterprises, is the labor market and employee subjectivity. Hence the close working cooperation of PTC - the initiator of the project with trade union organizations.
